What we Offer
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a fundamental practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body, known as acupoints, to regulate the flow of Qi (vital energy) along the meridians. Rooted in the belief that health is achieved through balance and harmony within the body, acupuncture aims to restore this equilibrium when disrupted. It is often used to help relieve pain, improve circulation, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural healing processes. Acupuncture is particularly useful in conditions such as muscle tension, headaches, insomnia, digestive issues, and emotional imbalances like anxiety.
Hyperbaric Oxygen chamber
A hyperbaric oxygen chamber is a modern therapeutic device that involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment, which allows the lungs to gather more oxygen than would be possible at normal air pressure. This high concentration of oxygen is then delivered throughout the body, promoting faster healing, reducing inflammation, and supporting tissue regeneration. It is especially beneficial for conditions like non-healing wounds, carbon monoxide poisoning, decompression sickness, and certain infections.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional therapy in Chinese Medicine that involves the burning of dried mugwort (moxa) near or on specific acupuncture points to warm and stimulate the flow of Qi and blood. The heat produced by moxa penetrates deeply into the body, helping to dispel cold and dampness, strengthen the Yang energy, and enhance overall vitality. Moxibustion can be direct (placing moxa on the skin, often with a protective layer) or indirect (holding a burning moxa stick near the body), depending on the condition being addressed. It is especially useful for treating cold-related disorders, chronic pain, fatigue, menstrual cramps, and digestive weakness.
Cupping
Cupping is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy that uses suction cups placed on the skin to promote the flow of Qi and blood, release stagnation, and support the body's natural healing. The cups—made of glass, bamboo, or silicone—create a vacuum effect, often by heat or a pump, which draws the skin upward. This suction helps to loosen tight muscles, encourage circulation, and remove toxins through the skin and lymphatic system. Cupping is particularly useful for muscle tension, respiratory conditions like cough and asthma, fatigue, and cold-related disorders. It may leave temporary circular marks on the skin, which are seen in TCM not as bruises, but as signs of internal blockage being released.
Sound Healing
Sound healing in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a therapeutic practice that uses vibrations and frequencies from instruments like gongs, tuning forks, singing bowls, or even the human voice, to restore harmony and balance within the body and mind. Rooted in the belief that each organ system resonates with specific tones, sound healing works by influencing the flow of Qi, calming the Shen (spirit), and clearing energetic blockages. Sound healing is especially useful for stress reduction, emotional balance, sleep disorders, and enhancing mental clarity.
Heat Therapy
Heat therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a method of applying warmth to the body to stimulate the flow of Qi and blood, dispel cold and dampness, and support Yang energy. Heat is considered especially valuable for people with cold syndromes, stagnation, or deficient Yang, which may manifest as pain, fatigue, poor circulation, or digestive weakness. Common forms include moxibustion, warm herbal compresses, hot stone therapy, and heated salt or sand packs placed on acupuncture points or affected areas. Heat therapy is often used to relieve joint stiffness, ease menstrual cramps, soothe muscle tension, and promote deep relaxation.
